Adams’ Barber Shop
Adams’ Barber Shop was located at 134 NE 10th Ave. on the property to the west of the Club Continental. The one-story duplex building contained the barber shop in the east unit and a café and juke joint in the west unit. A 1963 Business License receipt states that the barber shop had three chairs. To the rear of the duplex was a two-story building that contained two apartments and six rooms. Both buildings have been demolished.
Former Conrad Pickel Studio
Built by Conrad Pickel. The building and boundary wall contain examples of his Decralite blocks.
Site of Boynton Shopping Plaza
Shopping plaza containing the Kwik Chek Food Store, the Boynton Movie Theater, and numerous other businesses. Demolished.
Former Conrad Pickel Workshop
Contains many examples of Pickel's Decralite blocks.
Former Conrad Pickel Workshop
Contains examples of Pickel's Decralite blocks and decorative roof panels similar to those that were found on Gallery Fantasia.
Former Clyde's Bar
Became Hartley's, Frederick's Luncheonette. Now the True Deliverance by Faith Church. Quoins, scuppers, cornice, medallions, glass block windows.
Site of the proposed Cassandra Hotel
During construction, the framework was badly damaged by the 1928 hurricane. It was never completed and the framework was demolished in the 1930s.
Former Lucille and Otley's Restaurant
First restaurant opened 1936 near Briny Breezes. Moved to Boynton Casino after World War II, then this site in 1948. Closed 1998. Now a senior center.
Site of Boynton Motel
One-story motel. Exact date of construction is not known. Demolished 2006.
